Two companies make up PNA – Plasan USA Inc. and Plasan Carbon Composites (PCC). Plasan USA offers the benefits of a broad technical knowledge base with extensive expertise in composite structures and ballistic steel. 

In 2006, Plasan expanded its capabilities by acquiring the industrial composite expertise of a U.S. company formerly known as Vermont Composites. Located in Bennington, Vermont, the firm is a wholly owned subsidiary known as Plasan North America (PNA).

Plasan North America has an established infrastructure, manufacturing equipment, management, trained workforce and systems and procedures, enabling us to meet the current and future requirements of survivability projects. PNA's customer-centric philosophy offers extensive engineering and quality assurance capabilities with state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities.

PNA is the leading manufacturing authority for the armor component for Oshkosh's M-ATV project, producing and delivering 1,000 ballistic protection kits a month. The addition of a 73,000-sq. foot facility with dedicated equipment and a combined production staff of 240 have greatly expanded our manufacturing capacity.
